Arishka Laddha

Arishka Laddha who is a mere 6-year-old and hails from Kothrud, Pune, India recently created history by becoming the youngest female Indian climber to reach the base camp of Mount Everest, which is situated at an altitude of approximately 17,598 feet.

Along with her mother Dimple Laddha, who was trekking for fifteen days, Arishka ascended to the base of Mount Everest. The girl and her mother walked 130 kilometers in -3 to -17 degrees Celsius weather. For the expedition, Arishka traveled with her mother for fifteen days while wearing eight layers of clothing. She has stated that she hopes to reach the summit of Mount Everest one day.
