Women empowerment refers to the process of enabling women to have equal access, opportunities, and rights as men, allowing them to participate fully in all aspects of life and society. It involves increasing women's power and control over their own lives, as well as challenging and changing the social, economic, and political structures that contribute to gender inequality.

Women empowerment benefits not only women themselves but also society as a whole.
