Anushka Sharma penned a motivating and emotional note for the Indian women's cricket team after they suffered a heartbreaking loss at CWC 2022 against South Africa Women's team for the semifinals.

Anushka thanked the women's cricket team for a thrilling match and lauded them for their brilliant efforts. She appreciated their efforts till the last point of the game and also expressed her support to the team.

Anushka's note read, "The result did not go our way and was heartbreaking but what an exciting enthralling match you fought right till the end girls! You'll always have our never ending support and belief."

According to a report, Mithali Raj was quoted as saying, "I personally think the girls have given it all knowing the importance of today's game. It was a good game from both sides."

"It will take some time to settle the emotions but that's what sport is...Thanks to everybody who's turned out for every game of India," Mithali added.

Anushka loves to celebrate every little win of the women's cricket team. Anushka made sure to boost the morale of the girls by penning a motivating note on her Instagram stories even after the team got eliminated from entering the semi-finals.
