How does your educational background and professional journey influence your current path, and what motivates the shift from a successful career to the founding of Sleep Moksha?

Over the span of 15 years, my professional journey has been characterized by a rich tapestry of clinical knowledge and hands-on experience, encompassing diverse roles at prestigious healthcare institutions. Notable among these are Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, University of Pennsylvania and Max Hospital. These experiences have afforded me profound insights into the intricacies of sleep disorders and the unique challenges faced by Indian population in terms of sleep. Despite a successful and financially rewarding career in the US, my decision to return to India was propelled by the firm belief that my expertise could significantly contribute to addressing the pronounced need for sleep-related programs in the country. This strategic move involved considerable risk-taking, particularly given my status at the pinnacle of my career.

Could you briefly discuss your expertise as a Behavioural Sleep Medicine Consultant, the inspiration behind founding Sleep Moksha, the company's specialties, and the challenges in promoting the importance of sleep for high performers?

As a Behavioural Sleep Medicine consultant I also have a niche practice where I help high performers to optimize their sleep for better recovery and performance which is the cornerstone of success and high achievement. The establishment of Sleep Moksha

was spurred by the recognition that the sleep remains often overlooked and misunderstood in both sports science and corporate performance. Through Sleep Moksha, my aim is to bridge this knowledge gap and catalyze a transformative shift in how high performers approach their recovery and performance. In our efforts to educate and empower individuals to take control of their sleep for a healthier and more fulfilling life, we have developed comprehensive sleep optimization programs. Nevertheless, our team grapples with the challenge of elucidating the fundamental importance of quality sleep for overall well-being and performance.

In the upcoming expansion phase of Sleep Moksha, our vision is to provide exceptional sleep care built on personalised and data driven interventions and rooted in professionalism and compassion. professionalism, and compassion. This commitment underscores our dedication to individual client health and the broader mission of advancing knowledge about sleep and wellness. In my role as a female entrepreneur in an unconventional field, I actively inspire others, especially women, by creating opportunities in high-performance fields at Sleep Moksha. I consider setbacks as valuable learning opportunities, choosing to persist and using challenges to fuel my determination.
