Whether we utilise visual or written media, the substance of the story is the most crucial component. At Erango Media, we aspire to create distinctive characters who live extraordinary lives. This is in line with our objective to create one-of-a-kind artistic media that embodies our ideology – unconventional, outgoing, energetic, and entertaining. Tell Us About Your Educational Journey And Prior Industry Experience. What Motivated You To Venture Into The Field Of Corporate Social Responsibility?

I was the best student in my Geology degree class in Pune, so I decided to pursue a Diploma in Business Management there. I recently completed a Digital Marketing course at IIM Lucknow to prepare for the new environment. I have almost 40 years of experience with a Swedish Multi-national company in finance, accounting, purchasing, communication, credit control, and corporate social responsibility.

With my experience in numerous roles inside the firm and a strong network of friends, it was easy for me to volunteer to take on the duty of establishing CSR for my company and building a strong foundation for doing good in all the regions that we operate in.

How Did Your Journey Veer Towards The World Of Storytelling? What Was The Idea Behind The Creation Of Erango? What Are Your Strategies For The Future Of Erango?

I am an avid reader who has even run a library for neighbourhood children in my home to encourage them to read, and I began telling stories since they came naturally to me. As many great leaders have proved, the future belongs to those who can tell stories. Erango was created to help individuals find their inner storytellers. People, products, and services should be able to share their experiences with the rest of the world more easily.

"If you do not contribute to society and the economy, you can never aspire for your nation to be great"

We formed a formal corporation for Erango Media in Canada, but it has yet to take off owing to the pandemic. As a result, our top goal would be to get the Canada entity up and running and successful. In Erango's future, you'll witness various exciting Apps created for the delivery of media services. You'll also notice some incredibly intriguing ideas that I'm not yet ready to reveal.

What Are The Roles And Responsibilities That You Currently Shoulder At Erango? What Has Been The Most Significant Milestone That Have You Achieved And What Is Your Guiding Philosophy?

I mostly contribute in the areas of research, strategy, writing, and administration in the start-up. Several obstacles are typical of a start-up related to finances and other decisions must be dealt with regularly. Also, the difficulties of running a family business, where keeping the formal from the personal is nearly impossible. I try to overcome these obstacles by drawing on my many years of expertise, the majority of which comes from the corporate sector.

Over time, I've worked my way up the ranks by consciously cultivating talents and relationships. I've attempted to look at the issue through a new, unique lens in every job I've held, and as a result, I've been able to challenge some long-held beliefs and breathe new life into the roles. My leadership philosophy is based on teamwork, cooperation, empowerment, cross-functional information flows, and, most importantly, continuous learning.
