Take us through your early journey before becoming a leader.

No situation or financial status is a hindrance to attaining a feat like success. All that requires is passion, determination, and perseverance to grab opportunities & stand on your own legs. That's exactly what my journey has proved. I grew up in a humble background in a tiny town close to Kodinar, Gujarat. Despite hailing from an extremely conservative and narrow-minded setting, I was fortunate enough to move out to Porbandar to pursue my higher studies. Right from my childhood, I must say, leadership and mettle were deep-rooted within me. That being  said, I laid the foundation; stones for my entrepreneurial journey during my college days.

It wasn’t an easy journey  and my first business did not have any proper system or structure. However, my commitment, focus, and work were followed by profits that I could never imagine. After gaining some exposure and exploring a couple of partnerships, Eyedea Living was conceptualized in the year 2020. Since the corona outbreak when reality changed; making businesses hit rock-bottom across the value chain, we kicked off the journey; full-fledged in the eCommerce space.

Tell us about the underlying idea behind your brainchild ‘Eyedea Living’ and some of its most unique features.

Emphasizing the fact that the place we dwell reflects our personality, Winston Churchill once said, "We shape our homes and then our homes shape us". We at Eyedea living truly believe in these words. To make spaces heavenly,

Eyedea began its journey as a full-service design and construction brand for custom furniture using metal and wood. From the initial design idea to the final product, Eyedea Living takes care of everything along each step of the way.

We pride ourselves on working collaboratively with the clients to create the perfect piece that reflects their unique style, personality, look, and feel. That’s why we thrive on constantly developing and delivering complex interior solutions. We build antique-style products with age-old raw materials and offer 100 years warranty, which are the most unique aspects of our brand.

What are some important features of your expertise as an entrepreneur?

Among all the expertise I gained in my life, would love to mention three of them. In my view, expertise is generally seen as a skillset, but I would rather prioritize mindset over skillset, hence I am highlighting three mindset expertise of mine. The first one is my love forunderstanding more. I choose to understand rather than expect to be understood. I find an inner rush, an unending curiosity to understand self, people, energies, god, opportunities, life, and a lot more! That’s why I love what I do. Because in around a decade, I’ve understood so much about the furniture industry while meeting so many industry experts & artisans all around the country & world. Secondly, my strengthlies in my urge for freedom. People may work so hard to get recognition & fame, but I work to get free! And thirdly, the biggest quality as an entrepreneur is not bothering about what others think of me or what I do. I feel that  is my greatest strength because I’ve seen thousands of people staying lifeless, fearing others' thoughts about them.

Give a brief on the growth or transformation of Eyedea Living.

In a short span, we have been able to foray into several niche categories. We have been working on Luxury Houses, Bungalows, and Commercial spaces. Our core is home styling with beautiful interior plans, wherewe take care of every aspect from who is staying there and their preferences to offer the best to them. We have onboarded several high-net-worth individuals as our clients and we are proud to be recognized among the top furniture makers in India. Till today, our focus has always been on Creativity & Quality. Moreover, we are now expanding our dealers and franchises across India as well.

Were there any challenges you faced initially as a trainer, educator, and speaker? If so, how did you overcome them?

Everything in this world is either an opportunity to grow or an obstacle to keep you from growing. In my case, definitely there were many challenges just like any entrepreneur. While it takes courage for any ordinary person to leave a government job and risk into business, to me, it was also breaking my conservative family mindset and ignoring societal ideologies and misconceptions. As a person with huge self-belief and confidence, I took every stumbling block on my way as a constructive opportunity. I did come across a few hurdles during the initial days; firstly, because I am a female; secondly, I was too young when I started a business. As a young and new entrant, building the trust and gaining those initial opportunities was difficult despite delivering the best.
