US First Lady Jill Biden Announces New Actions & Plans for Women's Health Research

The First Lady Jill Biden unveils new set of actions, intending to address health inequities that women face in United States. She has come up with plans involving the spending of a minimum of $500 million annually on women’s health research.
In New York, Jill Biden made the announcement of the Clinton Global Initiative annual meeting 2024 which was just before when the organisation honoured President Joe Biden with its 2024 Clinton Global Citizen Award.
In addition, Department of Defense shall be adhering to the additional government spendings that comes with medical care for more than 230,000 active duty military women with a consideration of the initiative. This offer also includes almost 2 million military retirees in addition to the members of their family.
“Women are really hungry for this kind of information. We don't have the answers,” First Lady said. The initiative taken by Jill Biden will help improvising the health with regards to women.
Moreover, Patricia McIlreavy, Center for Disaster Philanthropy President stated, “With ongoing impediments to a large-scale international aid response, Sudanese community groups have become the primary frontline responders and are currently the most effective means of reaching millions on the brink of starvation. With so many lives on the line, the imperative to support local aid efforts in Sudan has never been more urgent.”
