Indian Women's Softball National Coaching Camp Concludes

The Indian Women's Softball Team underwent a two-week-long National Coaching camp for the upcoming international softball tournament at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi.

The Softball Association of India (SBAI) has started an initiative to organize frequent coaching camps for next year's Asia Cup and World Cup qualifiers with the aim of raising the international ranking, both at the Asian and World levels.

A total of 19 players from nine different Indian states participated in the camp, which was designed to improve the teamwork and skills of the Indian Women's Softball team.

Neetal Narang, the first woman to be elected as the President of the Softball Association of India, expressed her joy and praised this initiative that will help in the development of both the team and the sport. She talked about the historic partnership between the sport of softball and Maharatna ONGC. The prestigious ONGC will help Indian softball reach new heights on the world stage. With the support of ONGC, the camp was held at the Sports Authority of India's facility where the SBAI provided prominent facilities to its female players.

The players' tenacity, knowledge of the coaching staff, and unwavering support from the sponsors, everything is helping the team to proudly represent the country on global stages.

The coaching camp not only improved the skills but also helped to build a sense of teamwork and unity among the players which will help in the upcoming international competitions.
