Indian Female Hockey team loses 2-3 to China

The Indian women's hockey team's tour of Germany started with a disappointing start as it lost to China 3-2. Chen Jiali (9), Zhong Jiaqi (45), and Xu Yanan (51') were the goal scorers for China, with Navneet Kaur scoring in the 24th and 45th minutes.
In the first half of the match, both teams made quick starts where India launched an aggressive attack and secured a PC in the third minute but team China saved it with a strong defense.
Next, India was penalized for a defensive mistake that resulted in a penalty shot. In the ninth minute, China took advantage and scored their first goal. Both the teams exchanged PCs but failed to grab a shot.
In the second quarter, the Indian team started with strong gameplay. They won back-to-back PCs through a well-executed attack but the team failed to take advantage. Navneet made a good field goal in the 24th minute.
In the 45th minute, Navneet secured her second goal and gave India a 2-1 lead but China quickly took a goal in the 51st minute by Xu and made a 3-2. The next matches of India vs Germany are lined up on Tuesday and Thursday.
