According to KT Rama Rao, Focus on Women's Welfare in Telangana

K.T. Rama Rao who is the Working President of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), Telangana says that Telangana has become a model state for the entire country of India in terms of Women's Welfare.
As Telangana observed Women's Welfare Day which is also a part of the state's Formation Day celebrations, the BRS leader used the social media platform Twitter to express his views on the state government’s programs for women's welfare.
KTR wrote on Twitter, "She is not half of the sky, she is the sky," adding that women not only make up half of the welfare but are an essential part of the welfare. The BRS leader claimed that the KCR government has taken care of every citizen, even the newborn baby girls, and elderly women. He also talked about providing pregnant women with nutrition kits. It will be considered the first step to making Telangana a healthier state. Every birth in the state will be given Rs 13,000 and a KCR kit.
KTR also mentioned residential schools for girls for quality education and empowerment by corporate institutions.
The state has a "We Hub" program that aims as a safety net for women that is operated by "She Teams'. Other initiatives mentioned by the Minister for women empowerment were monthly pensions for widows and single won't, 50 per cent of reservations in local institutes, reservations in market committees and also providing sarees during the Bathukamma festival.
