Take us through your early educational journey and prior industry experience. What are some essential features of your expertise as an entrepreneur?

I have always been inclined toward the creative field.So, after doing post-graduation in commerce, I pursued the Certification course in 3d Animation and gained skillset to work in this industry. Working with few production houses for seven years as a Lead 3D artist and Project Manager never thought of being an entrepreneur. With the gained experience, hard work, networking, and dedication helped me starting Purple Gravity Studio and made me reach to this position. As a startup, things are not easy time to time you need to play multiple roles being anentrepreneur. Different hats of being a marketing person to HR to an Accountant required to be played. It’s a constant learning process that one needs for a diverse working perspective. As I have been involved in all sorts of work areas till today many things are still a challenge to me. Believing in having natural leadership qualities helps me to put my best foot in, to learn in the best possible way, and achieve success.

What motivated you to establish Purple Gravity Studio? Tell us about the underlying idea behind the firm and some of its most unique features.

My artistic passion and leadership quality led me to establish my studio and start my journey as an entrepreneur. I started my professional journey as a 3D artist in Ahmedabad studios and then became a freelancer. As work increased, I hired a part-time artist and kept adding people to my team and didn't even realize it when I formed a company within my home premises. As team members kept increasing, we rented a small office and within a year we moved to our own office. Being an entrepreneur is a constant learning process as I mentioned earlier also. Purple Gravity Studio is a 3D animation and visual studio focused on varied types of 2D, and 3D animated videos, graphics, rendering, and bulk processing of images for required different mediums. We cater to education, media, retail, medicine, machinery, and manufacturing industries. We also specialize in creating object design, state-of-the-art graphic design, and unique websites for startups and SMEs.

What are the various roles and responsibilities you shoulder as the founder of Purple Gravity Studio? What are your primary focus areas in your current role?

As running the startup my role is multi-dimensional. I have been involved in all departments from hiring team, getting new work and ensuring smooth delivery. My focus is also in daily activities of the artist to achieve the high level of quality, and also resolving any difficulties or hurdles in the smooth functioning. My initial focus, was having a good team, as you cannot achieve anything without efficient and skilled team members. My key focus is also my Team and equipping them with needed skills and infrastructure, so they can deliver current projects smoothly in timely manner with quality.

Empowering team gives me time to focus on getting more business, whether it is international or national level.

What are some of the most pressing challenges you encounter in your current role? How do you successfully mitigate these challenges?

Being firm believer that challenges are learning opportunities as they're sent to promote and strengthen you. The major challenge is resource management, as finding good resources for the animation studio is the most crucial aspect of a company. We have hired significantly less experienced people and trained them in the process and tools. And now, we have a team of imaginative doers and tech experts with 10+ years of experience creating interesting, engaging, and successful digital solutions for varied domains. Even though I am from the accounting field, handling finances, accounts, and taxes are big tasks in my daily bucket. I am budding in this aspect by making decisions with due diligence.

What are some of the most significant milestones you have achieved throughout your professional journey? What has been the driving force behind your success as a professional?

Growing from a team of 3 to a team of 10 has been an outstanding achievement and an inspiring journey for us. Starting from a Bedroom to a rented office and now owning our own office is an incredible growth that we have experienced. Yes, the sense of achievement has been very satisfying, which I think was only achievable due to the support of my family and my team. Dedication, Hard work, Focus on quality work over quantity, and timely deliverables to our clients are the driving force. The client's belief in us makes me feel I am going on the correct path, and I always try to improve and evolve my approach.
