Landmark Verdicts:

On a petition opposing BCCI secretary N Srinivasan's eligibility to serve on the board and own stock in an IPL franchise, she made a split verdict. The petition has been referred to the chief justice for allocating to a larger bench due to the split verdict.

A nine-year live-in relationship between a Jharkhand block development officer and a woman was disputed by Justice Markandeya Katju and Justice Gyan Sudha Mishra where Justice Markandeya Katju ruled the man could not be held guilty of deceiving the woman, while Justice Gyan Mishra found him guilty of cohabiting with the women and bashed the verdict officially. The matter was later taken to the larger bench.
