Anu Aga
Anu Aga, an Indian billionaire businesswoman and social worker with a $2.8 billion net worth, served as the chairperson of Thermax, an energy and environment engineering company from 1996 to 2004. As per Forbes magazine, she was one of the top 40 richest Indians by net worth in 2007 and ranked among the top eight richest Indian women. She became interested in social work after stepping down from Thermax, and the Indian government honored her with the Padma Shri for Social Work in 2010. Anu Aga has served on a number of committees, including the Committee on Personnel, Public Grievances, Law and Justice, and the Committee on Empowerment of Women. She is also a member of the Rajya Sabha parliament.
