Celebrating Women’s Entrepreneurship Day, the entire world is considering the changes that have been made because of the efforts of women founders who entered the entrepreneurial landscape with the utmost resilience and prowess. Today November 19, 2024, is dedicated to rejoicing the women in business.

Amidst the growth of women-led firms globally, India counts as one of those countries where female entrepreneurs and founders are rising at a substantial pace. Numerous reports display the same. Amongst all the reports, Bain and Co. stated that currently, around 15.7 million enterprises that are run by females exist in India i.e., a total of 22% of the overall entrepreneurial landscape.

Additionally, it has also been proven that organizations with strong female leadership attain an annual return of 10.1 percent on equity in comparison to the 7.4 percent of the ones which doesn’t have females on board, as reported by MSCI ESG.

To honor all the women founders on WED, the Women Entrepreneurs Review Team talks about lacking the Indian entrepreneurial ecosystem with women founders struggling to have higher representation. Discussing with several female founders, we bring their inputs to your access.
