Payal Kapadia- Filmmaking
An Indian filmmaker, Payal Kapadia has represented the country at 2021 Cannes Film Festival, winning Golden Eye award for best documentary film ‘A Night of Knowing Nothing’. Most recently at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, she won the Grand Prix for her film ‘All We Imagine as Light’, becoming the first female Indian filmmaker to win such a title in history. Exhibiting her talent and the Indian film industry’s potential of making commending films. She is an inspiration for all the aspiring filmmakers in the industry and an encouragement for all of them to make good-story films.
