Arunima Sinha- Mountaineering
The Padma Shri Awardee, Arunima Shinha is the first female amputee in the world to climb Mount Everest (Asia) and Mount Kilimanjaro (Africa). Moving with the aim to hoist Indian flag on each of the continent's highest peaks, she has climbed Asia’s Everest, Africa’s Kilimanjaro, Europe’s Elbrus, Australia’s Kosciuszko, South America’s Aconcagua, and North America’s Denali. She has been honoured with Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award, First Lady Award, Malala Award, Yash Bharti Award and Rani Laxmi Bai Award.
