Manjari Sharma: FarmDidi

Manjarai Sharma founded FarmDidi which is a widely popular and recognized food tech firm with two missions: empowering rural women in India and offering consumers authentic, natural, and healthy food items. They use the tagline "From her Kitchen to Yours" in their products. This for-profit food tech company collaborates with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and self-help groups (SHGs). They sell chutneys, pappads, and pickles prepared entirely by hand to customers in India and globally. The company's main office is in Pune, Maharashtra where 150 SHGs work with FarmDidi. This venture also trains village women in the food business through their FarmDidi Mobile Application.

Manjari Sharma is a well-established former management consultant and alumnus of IIM Calcutta. Manjari's adventure started when she was asked a direct yet insightful question by Rural Bihari Women: "Didi hum aur kya kar sakte hai?" FarmDidi empowers rural women by offering nostalgic food items and a scalable business model, leveraging their experience in processing, farming, and marketing to evoke nostalgic emotions.
