The blend of technology, creativity, social consciousness, and deep business acumen collectively form a strategic leadership. Accumulating all these aspects, Samskruthi Raikar co-founded of SamMegh Technologies in 2021. The young and quirky leader with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and Certification in Career Counselling believes that when passion enlightens the inside spirit, no one can stop a person from being a sparkling entrepreneur. While attributing her quick-wit and proactive mindset, she launched a distinctive training and internship program through which she helped 400+ students learn new technologies and earn.

At present, she is the backbone of SamMegh's operations and marketing. In an exclusive interview with Women Entrepreneur India, Samskruthi spoke about the eminence of the company and her journey. Below are the excerpts.

Give us a brief overview of SamMegh Technologies. What are some interesting aspects of your organization?

Based in Bangalore, SamMegh is a Software Development firm established by myself and my co-founder Sachin Vaidya. In just ten months of operation, SamMegh has worked on multiple kinds of projects for both domestic and international clients. We have successfully completed over 25 projects in a short span. We offer various solutions such as Web Designing & Development, Android/Web App Development, SEO, UI/UX Designing, Digital Marketing, Content Development, and others.

Our young and energetic team is specialized in various domains, which helps us cater to end-to-end business development solutions for companies. Apart from this, we are also into educating people, wherein we have started a program called Learn & Earn - through which we train students on technology and hire them as interns to work on our global projects. Students receive exclusive mentorship and intense online training not only to gain exposure but also to be future-ready. Until now, we have completed four batches of tech internships.

As the co-founder, what are the various roles and responsibilities that you shoulder at SamMegh Technologies? What are some of the most challenging aspects of your current role?

As a CMO and the leadership team member, I play a very crucial role in both the marketing and operational aspects of the company. I formulate the strategies for project handling and execution. Right from project requirements to team formation and delivery, I am the direct point of contact to the clients. This apart, I handle the complete internship initiative while overseeing various departments.

Speaking of the challenges, no journey is easy. We witnessed good growth, but it has been difficult in terms of resources. Unlike MNCs, which have immense resources for a smooth process, everything is limited in a startup setup. The main challenge is to understand all the business aspects and be good at them. We cannot stick only to our expertise. Irrespective of the backgrounds, we have to learn everything be it sales, development, client relationship, etc. Honestly, sometimes it feels overwhelming but I believe that hard work will pay off.

What have been some of the most significant milestones achieved by you over the years?

Although we are at a nascent stage as a business, we are proud to have completed 25 plus projects and trained 400+ students. From my experience so far, I feel that startups usually take at least 2 to 3 years to be in a position we are in. Through our hard work and persistence, we could archive it within one year. We are also happy to have good clients who trust our work.

SamMegh Technologies is not a money-oriented organization. It is definitely a growth-oriented organization with a motto of rising together and helping people, especially students. We are closely associated with a few HR consulting firms and Government College to provide free tech coaching to underprivileged students. We train them, make them work with us, and assist with placement as well.

What has been the driving force behind the success that you have achieved so far?

Undoubtedly, my family, friends, and team members who support me are the driving factors. I have been fortunate to not have people to discourage or demotivate me. I would also thank myself for having the focus and determination to make things possible. There were tough times, but I always remember why I started this, and there is no option of going back. I also strongly believe that it is our focus and hard work that can drive us towards what we want to be.

What is the growth mantra of your organization?

Gone are the days when being an expert in one technology was enough. Today, in the fast-advancing world, there comes a new technology every day, and we try to learn and implement most of them. Being on track with the tech trends, our team continuously learns what is in demand. I believe in being a master of all trades, and it is possible with determination. Luckily, we have such a determined team willing to take up new projects and execute them no matter what. Being agile to learn different technologies and implement them is one of the key growth formulas.
