Can You Talk More About Your Educational And Professional Background? Also, What Is Your Success Mantra?
From XLRI, I have done my MBA in business management and my entrepreneurial journey over the years has been very exciting and memorable. The importance of quality and excellence is something that I learnt early in my life and there is so much more to learn and achieve. Prior to entering the IT industry, I have worked in real estate and had business ventures of my own. That entrepreneurial experience is also something that helps me to make right business decisions now.
My positive mindset, passion for the work I do, and my result-oriented approach is something that has helped me to strive for sustained success in the industry. Apart from that, I have been blessed to work with my mentor and my husband Narayana Peesapati over the past 20 + years. At Covalense Global, we are a team of passionate professionals who work together to achieve customer delight and committed to create superior customer experience.
Can You Give Us A Brief Overview On Covalence Global?
We are a 16-year-old organization and we are proud to work as trusted development partner to all our customers globally. We aspire to create long term partnerships with our customers, align with their IT road map and focus on value added services. We have customers with whom we have worked for over a decade. Apart from large MNCs, we also work with innovative start-ups as well. We work with businesses across a broad range of industries, including Beverages, Banking & Financial Services, Education, Energy, Engineering, FMCG, Government, Healthcare, Insurance, Retail, Media & Entertainment , Technology, Telecommunications, Travel & Hospitality, and Logistics.
Elaborate More On The Roles That You Have Shouldered At Covalense Global? And How Do You Keep Yourself Aligned With The Changing Industry Requirements?
Currently, I am heading operations, sales & strategy of our company. Prior to this, I was heading finance, legal & compliance and supported our HR, Sales and Marketing team over a decade. This wide array of experience has helped me to have a holistic knowledge of our business operations. Right now, we are present in six countries and working on innovative solutions for our clients. Overseeing all the engagements and successfully running operations has been a great learning experience for me.
Working in such a dynamic market, we ensure that we are aligned with all the trends and disruptions occurring in the IT landscape. Apart from that, we evaluate ourselves and stay on top of the changing customer requirements & expectations. We have regular governance meetings with each and every one of our customers and these regular interactions not only allow us to get their feedback but this also helps us to analyze our performance on a continual basis.
What Were The Challenges That You Faced In The Industry And How Did The Company Tackle This?
IT industry is high potential growth industry with dynamically changing technology landscape. Covid has bought in many challenges in multiple directions. We had to work remotely, but with our planning we were able to continue delivering quality services for our clients. We acknowledge the fact that challenges are part and parcel for a business and even though, we still face a multitude of challenges, we see them as opportunities to improve ourselves. Also, over the years, I have learned that it is important to understand the shifts in the market as well as consumer preferences to succeed in the market. Keeping our long-term growth in mind, we have spread our business operations both in terms of geographies and technologies and this has helped us to operate in a much more sustainable manner.
What Were Some Of The Major Milestones In Your Career And What Advice Would You Give To Budding Women Entrepreneurs?
Positioning ourselves as trusted development partners for our customers including a number of Fortune 500 companies globally. I take great pride in being able to successfully deliver critical engagements and winning customer accolades over the years.

When it comes to my advice, what I want to say is that being an entrepreneur is not easy, so make sure that you are prepared to face uncertainties& bumps in the road At the same time, be open to learn new things and aim for continuous improvement. More importantly, pursue your passion and don’t be afraid to try out new things. There are new market opportunities coming up and it is up to you to reach out and grab those opportunities.
