Give Us Brief Details About Your Educational And Professional Background. Also, Explain About Your Role At Dr.Vineesha's Dental Clinic And Orthodontic Center And How Are You Leveraging The Best Of These Elements Across Your Company’s Operations?

I did my Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS) and Masters in Dental Surgery (MDS) in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics from the prestigious The TamilnaduDr.M.G.R Medical University in Chennai. I have over 7 years’ experience in the field of Dentistry, I have worked as an Associate during my undergrad days and also during my postgrad days I have worked part-time and post my Masters I have been working as a Consultant at various clinics and Hospital. Now, I am the Principal Dentist and Sole proprietor of Dr.Vineesha’s Dental Clinic and Orthodontic Center. My job is to manage the day to day activities of the clinic and also to plan a strategy for future endeavours of the clinic. During my tenure as an Associate Dentist with my Mentor Dr.N.R.Krishnaswamy,MDS, I learnt several tricks of the trade like Patient Management, Communication with the patients, Database management, Treatment Planning, Stock and Inventory taking, Accounts and payable management. All these experiences have helped me garner a successful practice at my first venture of a private clinic.

What Inspired You To Incept Dr.Vineesha's Dental Clinic And Orthodontic Center. Brief Us About The Various Offerings Of Your Clinic With A Key Highlight On Flagship Offering?

My lifelong dream has always been about having my own clinic. I took a break for my pregnancy for about 15 months and since I strongly believe that women should be financially independent and I started working in various private clinics as a consultant Orthodontist.I had about 20 clinics and I had to be on wheels most of the time, which was increasingly difficult with a year-old child. That is when I decided to incept Dr.Vineesha’s Dental clinic in June 2019. The clinic is multi-speciality dental clinic and we provide a gamut of services. A few of them are Root canal treatment, dental implants, Invisalign (Invisible braces), Braces, gum treatment, Tooth extraction, Teeth whitening, Kids dentistry, and geriatric services. My flagship offering is INVISALIGN- Invisible braces. I am a certified Invisalign Specialist and rank among the top 3 in Chennai in providing Invisalign treatment.

Family Plays An Important Role In Every Person’s Life. How Has Your Family Supported You In Your Career Journey So Far?

Family is everything. I am very lucky I have a great support system in them. My Son, Advaith, being a toddler is very understanding and assures me in his own way. My parents are my pillars and they support me in every way possible with 100 percent faith in me. My husband is my Lifeline. He plays a very important role. He believes in my dreams, pushes me to do better every day and has been a total support in every aspect of life. He is the best half.. He has always believed in my dreams, has always been extremely supportive of my career and decisions I take related to that. My brother is a First-class cricketer and has been a rock for me from taking care of my son to investing in my clinic. My in-laws are very encouraging people and have also helped me with the funding of the clinic.

Where In Your Opinion Is Dr.Vineesha's Dental Clinic And Orthodontic Center Positioned In The Current Dental Industry Of India And What Are Your Thoughts On Its Present & Future Prospects?

It is a year-end old clinic and I don’t see myself in the big leagues yet. It is a start. I believe in short term plans. I plan for 3 months and try to execute them so that I don’t have to face over-written circumstances. My goal is to be one of the top dentists and I have many interesting ideas to reach my goal.
