Top Indian Women Leaders in UK - 2021

Leadership is the process of assigning a group of people a meaningful purpose and encouraging them to work together to attain that objective. Femininity has been depicted as dependent, meek, and compliant over time, and as a result, women have been viewed as deficient in leadership abilities. Times have changed since such prejudices against women in leadership roles were perpetuated. Women are more readily recognised as leaders as leadership is increasingly viewed as a process in which leaders engage and mobilise the human needs of their followers. As a result, the idea of women in leadership roles has garnered considerable attention in the last two decades.

There has recently been a remarkable shift in gender leadership roles in the United Kingdom. Women are increasingly taking on leadership roles. Furthermore, Indian women own and operate the vast majority of businesses in the United Kingdom. Despite the fact that the United Kingdom is one of the world's most industrialised countries, women in the UK continue to confront obstacles in their pursuit of corporate leadership. There has been a shift in male managers' perceptions of female managers and leaders. Women's leadership styles are frequently labelled as ineffective. Women continued to be the major caregivers for their families in addition to their work obligations. Work and family obligations often leave women with little or no time for networking. This creates an impediment to networking and, as a result, to incorporating leadership skills. Many women faced a difficult balance between family and job as time limitations and work pressure became increasingly crucial while seeking to climb the corporate ladder.

As time passes, Indian women are breaking free from traditional economic roles and stereotypes in greater numbers than ever before, with the goal of leading enterprises into the future.  Many female leaders have conquered seemingly insurmountable hurdles to achieve success in every imaginable field.
