Advertising revenues swung back to a healthy growth rate of 14 percent in 2021, rising from $577 billion to $657 billion. The growth is likely to accelerate further in 2022, with a 15 percent rise in advertising revenue according to the Magna Global Forecasting Report. Ads in digital formats witnessed highest growth up to 20 percent per year, whereas traditional media rose 12 percent per year.
