Given the abundance of health issues in the present times, the healthcare industry holds huge demands in the industry today, collectively led by the hospitals, medical devices, clinical trials, outsourcing, telemedicine, medical tourism, health insurance, and medical equipment. Having become one of the largest sectors of the Indian economy, in terms of both revenue and employment, India's healthcare industry has been growing profoundly at a CAGR of around 22 percent since 2016, and is expected to reach $372 billion by 2022. However, hospital infrastructure is the prima facie of the medical industry, given the advanced treatment & care it's capable of offering to the patients. According to studies, the Hospital sector alone was valued at Rs.4 lakh crore in 2017, and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 16-17 percent to reach Rs.8.6 lakh crore in 2022.
