Top 10 Women Leaders In Abu Dhabi - 2023
Leadership is no Longer a Man’s Game
Abu Dhabi encouraging Woman Workforce
Except of being the capital of the UAE, Abu Dhabi is a well-ordered, industrious and a vibrant city known for its spectacular infrastructures, adventure activities, luxury hotels, extensive deserts, rich heritage and beautiful beaches. It is also famous for being featured in many blockbuster movies, the rich Emirati culture, and camel racing. The country has one of the highest per capita income levels in the world and a highly developed welfare system followed by a lowest rate of unemployment. Moreover, it is a community-led city that is modern, welcoming, and respectful towards women. According to the 2021 Safe Cities Index, Abu Dhabi has also ranked as the safest city in the Middle East. The country strongly believes in the equal partnership of both man and woman for the betterment of society and provides plethora of opportunities for women to play increasingly stronger role in business, government and other fields.
Calls for Gender Equality
However, the working landscape is changing, and the business world is no longer just a man’s game. With equal rights and access to education women are openly venturing in any field they want to operate on and leading a world that is driven by performance and results. They have attained immense success in every field, whether it is sports, politics or academics. Finally the world is now seeing women increasingly gaining power in the corporate world that had been previously denied to them. In recent times, there have been calls for greater gender equality while closing the gender wage gap. Although tremendous strides have been made in this aspect, female representation falls short when it comes to leadership roles. With revolutions in industries the world is witnessing more women in workforce than ever. Big thanks to the increasing number of wellknown organizations as they are the trend drivers towards women in leadership position while providing gender equality a paramount importance and making them self-sufficient, well aware and financially independent.
