Since, doing business remained a challenge for multinational corporations (MNCs) in the past, India has seen relatively slower and steadier growth in the past. However, India economically developing given its prowess in technology and growing urbanization & infrastructures, it’s entirely a different case today. Within the last decade, the country has become a preferred destination for foreign development investments (FDI), with India receiving $84.8 billion in 2022, despite the impact of the pandemic and geopolitical developments. It is certainly fulfilling to note this growth of the country that MNCs have chosen India as an attractive investment destination and are planning for expansion in here. According to the ministry of commerce and industry, India is also on track to attracting $100 billion FDI in the current fiscal on account of economic reforms and ease of doing business.

Though, in the meantime, during the April-June quarter, FDI equity inflows declined six percent to $16.6 billion, the economy is yet to see newer heights with more & more MNCs existence in India. India’s optimistic growth is led by strong momentum in domestic consumption, a growing services sector, digitalization, and the government’s focus on manufacturing & infrastructure. There are many leaders in corporates leading this growth in the country leveraging their dexterity in diverse industry sectors, and that includes efficient women leaders a well, be it in IT, Fintech, Architecture & Design, or other MNCs.
