In every corner of the globe, women are forming enterprises to pursue economic possibilities and self-determination. According to estimates based on various surveys and data sources, women own and run between one-quarter and one-third of formal sector enterprises globally.

The rise of women's power in Kuwait has also been meteoric. Women, in general, have become more vocal than ever about their rights to be independent and to equal work opportunities. The rising consciousness of women that Kuwait has experienced over the last two decades, has resulted in a greater contribution of women to Kuwait's economic growth. Women are now regarded as an essential component of Kuwait's labour force.

The high cost of living and the unfavourable position in several Kuwaitis have encouraged women to push themselves beyond their comfort zones and create their enterprises, therefore propelling the overall economic scenario ahead. No one can deny the importance of women in strengthening and reviving the Kuwaiti economy during its worst days. Many sectors require women's experience, viewpoint. Education, health and wellness, beauty, and fashion are examples of global markets that have been upgraded and filled with inventive women.
