Gone are days where some field of studies or jobs where described as male dominated and women who have got into such field where looked up on with surprise. Today, women have conquered every field and there are no more gender based discriminations on jobs. The reports on benefits of gender diversity in organisations have enlightened the world and today, women have broken the shell and the glass ceilings to  be the board room members of various organizations. Moreover gender inclusion has become necessary as the demands for suitable talents are increasing in the digital era.

The engineering field is facing a drain of talent all over the world. The engineers in demand in the industry are far more than the number of graduated people. Understanding the impact it could have on the industry, Vice president of global operations at Air Products, Richard Boocock, said that "Women's voices are essential to the problem solving and innovation at the heart of engineering,we need to do more, as both as a society and an industry, to encourage girls to engage in maths and science in school, to support women pursuing engineering degrees in university and to provide women with opportunities to thrive in our workplaces".

India could be definitely be proud in this case, with more number of women opting for STEM subjects and engineering graduation when compared to even that of developed countries. In the boardroom representation of women also India stands head in the world.

These young women have risen to top positions and have become inspiring leaders; their stories will be a true motivation to women all over the country, who want to chase their dreams.
