Woman never Seeks a Business Title to be a Leader

Leadership is not only about having ever-increasing followers but a much broader concept than this. While great leadership can have a great effect on an organisation, poor leadership can be equally damaging. Undoubtedly when it comes to evolution in business ethos, market dynamics, customer demand, changing technologies including senior leadership is very much concerned. Rising up to the challenges in business brought down by the advancing technology and changing consumer trends, the corporate leaders of today are dynamically spearheading the companies, and have proved their dexterity and women too have a significant contributor of this agile workforce. However, woman never seeks a business title to be referred as a leader, as true leaders always shows up in the frontline to safeguard their community and women around the globe do that in a daily basis, regardless of their job title or position.

Slowly but Steadily Women are taking the Charge

Amid all the talk about leadership, literally we are witnessing a shift today, where slowly but steadily women are taking the charge and reaching the highest entrepreneurial space around the globe. Be it any industry or sector, they are breaking the shackles and have made significant strides, playing a prominent role in providing efficient, innovative, and generative business ideas for the company, and leading enterprises such that it emanates a powerful workforce and fosters sustainable business growth. They are not only leading companies and organisations, but also nations. Though women making a mark around the globe, is not at all a new concept, but the rapid addition in the count for female executives, strategist, politicians, artist and other professionals is really welcoming and overwhelming. From India’s Falguni Nayar to Taiwan’s Winnie Lee, Malaysia’s Cheah Phaik Yeong, the Philippines’ Marianna Zobel de Ayala, Hong Kong’s Vivien Khoo , Singapore’s Lily Kong and many other women in Asia dare to brake the boundary of limit with their abilities, capabilities, hard work and reached the pinnacle of success and definitely made Asia proud with their achievements irrespective of the verticals, which deserves to be celebrated and acknowledged. Finally, not only Asia but the world is now witnessing women increasingly gaining power in the corporate world that had been previously denied to them.
