Women are continuing to be in top leadership positions in what was once a very male-dominated world. This is also vital for success in any business as women bring diversity in high-level positions. With the ever-growing service industries, today, women are entering a wider range of work opportunities. They are striving to take leadership positions that were earlier solely occupied by men. Increasing the number of women in a company can boost a country's GDP by as much as up to 21 per cent, according to research. Access to education, finance and transportation are some of the factors for this rise in women in workforce. Yet, women continue to face challenges due to their gender.
