Top 10 Corporate Women Leaders from Jaipur - 2021

According to the Women in Business 2021 report, India ranks third in the world for women working in senior management positions. Against the global average of 31 per cent, in India, the percentage of women in senior management stood at 39 per cent, which shows the changing perspective of Indian businesses towards working women. In India, businesses with at least one woman in the senior management position rose to 98 per cent. Compared with 69 per cent globally, nearly 88 per cent of Indians believe that new work practices will benefit women's career trajectories in the future.

Jaipur is witnessing a rise of women in leadership positions. In the age group of 15-59 years, 64,338 women are working in the organized sector. Today, women in Jaipur have higher levels of participation in economic activity along with better status and position. Earlier, lack of literacy, high-er education facilities and socio-economic setup were main hindrances to women's growth. Inability, want of information, help, male-dominated gild, lack of activity and processing were challenges for a woman to overcome. However, the Ministry of Rural Development and Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises have implemented many supportive schemes to help women. Also with the changing times, women are coming forward to get themselves educated and be at par with the men. Today women are at the top leadership positions to satisfy their central urge of ability and judge their capabilities. Nowadays, more and more women are venturing into areas that were traditionally dominated by men.
