A Bright New Day for Corporate World Following the Footsteps of Women Leaders

Through the passing decades women have been withstanding unbearable pain in the shadow of religion and customs in the heart of our country. They were even denied to some necessary facilities to life like good food, healthy living and a good source of education. The deep-rooted patriarchy was penetrated in the society so badly that rational-thinking was nowhere to be seen in the society. Women were fastened to the kitchen doors saying that they are only made for doing household chores and nurturing the next generation of the family, if she studies it will be a sin. From there till today women have been withstanding immense pain and disrespect but in 21st century the holy grail of education changed the primitive mindset of conservative population to some extent and finally, women are achieving the power to demolish the unseen shackles of society. Education has truly made women independent and free from all the miseries of life.

Women in the Corporate World: Women make up around 50 percent of our country’s population, within which only 23 percent of the women are working as successful executives. With the inception of Sustainable development Goals (SDG) by UN, the progress of women in the developing countries is attracting and uplifting women from their miserable life, carrying the country towards fulfilling the goals of Gender Equality. Women of today are full of aspirations, shinning career goals and are hitting the highest positions and competing neck-to-neck with their male counterparts. Unfortunately, society and primitive minds are here, there and everywhere barring women to soar in the vast sky. Women are facing headwinds and belittle microaggression of so called humble and respected enterprises, where few people with male ego are not ready to be questioned, ordered or trained under a woman. Amidst all the odds, corporate women-leaders are setting milestone in the pathway of women empowerment in India saying proudly that women are true representation of almighty who can win over all the obstructions by proving their skill and knowledge in the corporate world.
