Beth Mooney who made the Australian team as the winner of the Women's T20 World Cup in 2018, 2020, and 2023 is all set to captain the Gujarat Giants team in the inaugural season of the Women's Premier League (WPL). Beth is a legendary player on the Australian team past few years. She is the first batter to score the 50s in two World Cup finals.
The franchise of WPL, Gujarat Giants has released a social media post that hints, the player with the Highest T20I score of 117 not out, the winner of the Belinda Clarke Medal, and also the player of the series in the 2020 Women's T20 World Cup.
As Beth has been named as the 'player of the series in the 2020 Women's T20 World Cup' all clues lead to her. However, the official announcement is yet to be made.
Beth is continuously making records with her outstanding performance. On Sunday, 26 February, she made a record-extending sixth T20 World Cup victory for Australia. The Australian team scored 156/6 in 20 overs while batting against South Africa, which is possible because of Beth's 74 not out.
