The title of this session was "Sports as a Career for Women: Impetus and Impediments," which focused on the disparities that still exist in women's sports and potential options for the female athlete career.

As a part of the data collection project funded by the National Women's Commission of India, the University of Calcutta and Aligarh Muslim University have collaborated to mark a positive impact on women's sports careers.

Prominent sports authorities including Dr. Shahnawaz Khan, Dr. Fuzail Ahmad, Dr. Nazia Khan, Mr. Riyaz, and Mr. Shamshad Nisar Azami were present during the visit with female players from various districts, states, and national levels to ensure a diverse sample.

In the National Survey, 42 girls from Aligarh have taken part where they were guided about the different career options that can be pursued in and through sports
