The UP International Trade Show 2024, taking place from September 25-29 at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida, is a second edition of the trade show aimed at promoting vocational education, skill development, and entrepreneurship. The event attracts around 500 overseas buyers from 70 countries, offering local businesses an opportunity to expand their market reach. The event is co-organized by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and India Exposition Mart Ltd., with state agencies supporting economic prosperity and ease of doing business.

Women entrepreneurs showcase innovative products at the UP International Trade Show in Greater Noida, aiming to connect with buyers and stakeholders, showcasing sustainable, bamboo-based textiles and handmade jewelry. Businesswomen like Avnika Jain, an IIM Lucknow graduate showcased her brand 'Debaans' a combination of the French word 'De' means 'Of', and the Hindi word 'Baans' means 'Bamboo' which offers bedsheets and towels made of bamboo. She mentioned, "I launched Debaans this year. I sell bedsheets and towels on my online store and also on various e-commerce sites. I also sell gift hampers and plan to launch sleepwear soon. Right now, I get the products from a manufacturer and sell them at my store." She continued, "Some people come to our stall and ask us how bamboo can be transformed into a towel or a bedsheet. I feel there should be more awareness about sustainable development and the use of such products which contribute to sustainability."

Shivali Verma, a master of fine arts graduate from Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, showcased her artistic creations at her stall "Kaanch Kala". She faced financial challenges early in her career but started a home decor brand with the help of the state government's MSME department. She says, "The trade show is one of the best platforms for women entrepreneurs to display their products and grow their businesses." Another female entrepreneur, Anju Mara, a glass artisan from Farrukhabad, showcased her business that produces diyas, bangles, and glassware, and exports to France and Germany highlighting the UPITS trade show platform.
