By displaying their cutting-edge items at the Summer Carnival 2023, which was put on by the World Trade Centre (WTC) Bhubaneswar Women Forum, women entrepreneurs in Odisha saw a huge increase in business. On the night of Mother's Day, Symphony Mall hosted an event that featured a variety of goods made only by women.

The program was launched in the presence of Latika Pradhan, MLA for Kabisuryanagar; Rina Routray, Chairperson of the Mahila Atmanirbhar Abhiyan; and Nitisha Mann, Dy. Director, MSME-DFO, Government of India, Cuttack.

More than 25 newly established women business owners from Odisha are displaying their goods under one roof, highlighting their innovation and business acumen. The selection of goods is wide-ranging, including organic apparel, organic food, and eco-friendly jewelery. Numerous of the goods have a regional feel and flavour that represent the customs and cultures of the area.

The "Ecodarsini" jewellery line by Priyadarsini Das, often known as the "Green Queen of Odisha," is one of the well-known eco-friendly jewellery businesses on show. Her original earring designs, which are inspired by the G20, the SDGs, Net Zero, and Mother Earth, have been quite popular at the show. The cutting-edge and eco-friendly items on show have delighted customers.

One buyer remarked, "I have never seen such creative eco-friendly jewellery before. I got a necklace from Ecodarsini made of bamboo, wood, and dokra, together with an earring labeled as Net Zero. I'm very glad I bought these. Another client said that these women's items are distinctive and may draw anyone's attention once they are on display.”

The exhibitors are overjoyed that the show is taking place within a mall since customers can enjoy shopping for their goods there, and the reaction has been fantastic. This exhibition will surely inspire more women to start their enterprises and succeed as entrepreneurs, which is a great moment for the women of Odisha.
