The evening saw the presence of retired Deputy Commissioner of Police - Hyderabad, RSV Badrinath, who graced the event as the Chief Guest and provided his esteemed patronage. He was joined by dignitaries including Rina Hindocha, a well-known yoga coach, who is the advocate for women empowerment; Sucheta Pal, maternal fitness expert and Rashtrapati Awardee; Anupama Dalmia, Karamveer Chakra Platinum Awardee, eminent Blogger, Author, and entrepreneur; and Dr. Sangeetha Kosuru, psychologist and mental wellness coach.
Special guests included TL Rao, Associate Vice President, Ramoji City; Amit Kumar Chaudhury, GM - Corporate Relations, AIG Hospitals; and Krishna Yedula, Vice President & Head - Facilities & Sustainability (Pan India), Virtusa, who holds significant roles with ASSOCHAM and Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC).
The event featured notable women coaches, including Payal Jain, Nupur Aggarwal, and Jaylakshmi Narayanan, showcasing the power and commitment of the coaching and counseling profession. These women coaches, along with award winners and expert coaches were the embodiment of WCCA's mission-a passionate celebration of excellence, influence, and resilience. Their stories illustrated the transformational power of coaching and the power of personal evolution.
Associate Vice President of Ramoji City, T.L. Rao, called the WCCA a great initiative that accurately recognizes the role of women coaches, while the retired DCP of Hyderabad, R.S.V. Badrinath, recognized WCCA as a great honor and expressed genuine gratitude to Geetika Batraa, the Iron Lady of Gurgaon, who proposed the idea.
Krishna Yedula recognized how important this recognition is, commended the team for their hard work on the awards and festivities, while Amit Kumar Chaudhary, General Manager - Corporate Relations at AIG Hospitals, acknowledged the importance of recognizing women coaches and counselors in service.
The vision for WCCA was realized by Geetika Batraa, Director of Gold Fish PR & Communications, and founder of WCCA, who wanted to create a platform that truly recognizes women in coaching and counseling. Her unwavering promise to honor the integrity of the awards (avoiding a commercialized awards structure) illustrated the authenticity behind the intention of recognition. The success of the event was enhanced due to the generosity of gifting partners Aadiva and Paisley. WCCA will continue to grow and focus on creating connection with women coaches across India and eventually the world to showcase the impact women have made in their communities, create connection to each other, and build a network of connection and inspiration. With more cities to come, the Hyderabad evening was just the first step to a growth movement to shine a light on women who empower through coaching journeys, one woman's story at a time!
