The Visitor's Conference 2023 was officially inaugurated by President Draupadi Murmu on Monday at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The President mentioned the importance of education for the advancement of any individual, society, or nation during the inaugural speech. Overcoming difficult challenges in the workplace or life will be through higher education for the youth. One of the priorities of the National Educational Policy 2020, according to the President is to provide equitable and inclusive higher education to youth from socially and economically disadvantaged groups.
President Draupadi Murmu also mentioned that the countries will be able to rise as global superpowers through the power of knowledge. She claimed that the goal of NEP is to transform India into a superpower in the field of knowledge.
She further explained the certainty that higher education institutions would be essential to achieve the objective of making India a developed country by 2047. She was pleased to state that the Union Ministry of Education is working diligently to coordinate its efforts with those of all relevant stakeholders.
