To Promote Gender Equality, P&G & its brands join Young Leaders and Global Citizen

The Global Citizen Summit was held in April 2023, it is the second year of this Summit. Global Citizen once again gathered activists, artists, and world leaders together with businesses like Procter & Gamble to act NOW for many of the most important issues going on.
This is also an important opportunity for P&G to engage with, work with, and highlight its long-valued partners such as WeConnect International, Girl Up, and WASH United as well as young leaders who are handling some of the important hindrances to gender equality.
Here are some of how people can take action:
NOW is the Time for #PeriodForChange
The organization has collaborated with supporters of the Global Menstrual Equity Accelerator (GMEA), Always and Wishper, and passionate Period Heroes like Chantal Alison-Konteh of Her Village and Elise Joy of Girls Helping Girls as part of the mission to #EndPeriodPoverty.
The 'PERIOD FOR CHANGE' campaign was also launched in support of the GMEA which was launched at the Global Citizen Festival in September.
NOW is the Time to Elevate Young Leaders
This year the trailblazing activists were awarded in the Global Citizen Prize Citizen Award for making a difference in their local communities. Zuriel Oduwole, an activist, storyteller, and filmmaker was one such young leader who joined the Global Citizen.
NOW it's the Time For Women's Economic Empowerment
Women's economic equality can strengthen families, communities, and businesses together. Organizations like WeConnect International provides work to more women, with more investment.
