Time Magazine names AMD CEO Lisa Su as CEO Of The Year

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AMD, Lisa Su has been named Time Magazine’s CEO of the year in 2024, due to her hardwork and dedication. In addition, AMD was founded in the year 1969, catering in the Semiconductor Manufacturing industry.
The organisation is headquartered in Santa Clara, California and specialises in Processors, Graphic Cards, Computer Platforms, CPU, GPU, APU, Server, 64-bit, Virtualization, Cloud computing, Green IT, Energy Efficiency, Semiconductor, Components, amongst others.
Moreover, Lisa is a seasoned leader who has been associated with AMD for over 13 years now, joining with the position of SVP & GM, Global Business Units in 2012. In the year 2014, she became the President and CEO of the organisation. Before joining in AMD, she also worked as SVP & GM, Networking and Multimedia Group at Freescale Semiconductor for 4 years.
Furthermore, she has work experience of 12 years in IBM where she worked as VP, Semiconductor R&D. Texas Instruments is also one of the companies where she has worked as Member of Technical Staff.
Considering her academical background, Lisa holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her hardwork and resilience resulted in this title from Time Magazine.
