TiE Rajasthan to take Local Women Founders to Global Stage with I-Start

TiE Rajasthan has secured DoIT which runs an incubation centre ‘I-Start’ in order to take state’s women entrepreneurs to global stage with an intent to showcase these female entrepreneur’s startup ideas as well as entrepreneurial and managerial skills infront of the larger investors' community.
These female entrepreneurs shall get mentorship from TIE-Rajasthan as part of the tie-up. They much be enrolled in the programme for its global competition, conducting overall 60-odd locations that also includes about 22 in India.
department of IT and Communication’s commissioner, Indrajit Singh stated that the effort has been jointly provided in order to encourage innovation amongst women entrepreneurs while creating efficient solutions for businesses. Having already received 60 applications pitching their business ideas infront of the Jury, TiE-Rajasthan has witnessed these applicants claiming a participating position in TiE Global summit. The event shall take place in the year 2024 in Bengaluru.
TiE-Rajasthan’s president, Sheenu Jhawar said, “Besides I-Start, we are reaching out to other incubation centres in the state. The process has started and TiE-Rajasthan will hold pitching sessions to select the best startups.”
She stated that these startups come from different economic sectors that also includes some coming from governance and social impact sectors.
