Indian Women to play Bangladesh Tour Prior to Women's T20 World Cup

To prepare for the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 which is scheduled for September and October, Indian women’s cricket team is ready to embark on a tour to Bangladesh.

The Head of Women’s wing of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), Shafiul Alam Chowdhury Nadel made this assertion. Nadel added, “India will play some matches before the World Cup.” No specific timetable has been announced yet.

A study published by the Journal of Family and Economic Issues on finds that 'In India, women spend nearly ten times more time on unpaid domestic and care work than men worldwide.' It reveals that married Indian women perform twice as much unpaid domestic work as single women, with Hindu, Muslim, and Sikh communities working the most hours.
