40% of Women Employees unaware of POSH Act Finds Report

A report by Walchand Plus reveals 40 per cent of working women in the workplace are unaware of the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act's protective measures, highlighting the urgent need for a transformative approach.

According to the report, only 42 per cent of workers had a complete understanding of the POSH Act.

The research suggests that employees are not completely aware of the Act's provisions, and need better knowledge and guidance about the provisions of the Act.

V G Sakthikumar Awarded as 'Committed Leader for Women Empowerment'

At the CII Excon 2023 in Bangalore, V G Sakthikumar, the Managing Director and Chairman of Schwing Stetter India, received the "Committed Leader for Women Empowerment" award.

Jharkhand to host FIH Hockey Olympics Qualifiers 2024

Jharkhand is set to host the FIH Hockey Olympics Qualifiers Ranchi 2024 from 13 to 19 January 2024, featuring eight global teams, including India, competing for the Paris 2024 Olympics. The prestigious event, held at the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Astro Turf Hockey Stadium, is expected to attract 5,000 spectators from all over the nation.
