Indian Women's Cricket Team beat England in third T20 match
The Indian women’s cricket team won over England by five wickets in the third T20 match of the Tri series at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
England had won the previous two matches. This last win helped salvage a complete whitewash for Team Blue.
India chose to bowl first after losing the toss. Indian spinners Shreyanka Patil and Saika Ishaque displayed remarkable by dismantling England’s middle order. English Captain Heather Knight however managed to score a half-century which helped the team reach a final score of 126. From the Indian side, Smriti Mandhana scored 48, helping India achieve the victory.

A report by NGO Sulabh International reveals that female students in India are fearful of using school toilets during menstruation due to a lack of water, soap, sanitation, and missing doors.
The report states that school girls are forced to stay home during menstrual cycles, with distance from home being less of a barrier than the lack of menstrual hygiene management facilities. School girls often choose to stay at home due to a lack of menstrual hygiene supplies at school premises including pads or sanitary napkins. This results in a choice between school facilities and home comfort and privacy during the period days.

Indian chef Garima Arora received her second Michelin star for her Bangkok restaurant Gaa. She is the first Indian woman to receive two Michelin stars in the restaurant industry.

Indian Women Score 410 Runs on First Day of Test Match against England
India women's cricket team set a record by scoring 410 runs in the first Test against England. The match was held at the DY Patil Stadium on 14 December, Thursday. It is considered to be the second-highest score in a day in a women's Test.
In addition, this marks the third time that 400 or more runs have been scored in a single day in a women's test as the other two were on day four of the Australia vs. England Test in 2022. In December 2022, Australia and England scored 449 runs, compared to the combined 475 runs scored by England and New Zealand in the 1935 Test.
