Madhya Pradesh CM announces an increase in Ladli Behna Yojana & and a 35% Female hiring preference

Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh announced an increase of financial assistance provided to women under the Ladli Behna scheme from Rs 1000 to Rs 1,250 per month. He also announced 35 per cent reservation for them in the public employment sector and the provision of gas cylinders for Rs 450. The remaining amount of Rs 1,000 will be credited in September.
