The Tata WPL 2023: Delhi Capitals vs Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians lift the trophy and become the first-ever winner of the inaugural tournament of Tata Women’s Premier League 2023. At Mumbai’s Brabourne Stadium on Sunday, Mumbai Indians beat Delhi Capitals by a margin of seven wickets.

The two finalist teams Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians competed against each other at the Tata WPL 2023 Championship Game where the DC won the toss and elected to bat first against MI.

Indian women boxers presented best-ever performance Bagging 4 Golds at IBA Women's World Boxing Championship

At the IBA Women's World Boxing Championship, Indian female boxers recreated history. By giving a splendid performance they bagged 4 Gold medals for the country. India stood at the first position in the championship for securing the highest 4 gold medals at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex in New Delhi.

The Indian female boxers who have been presented with the gold medals are, Nitu Ghanghas (48kg), Nikhat Zareen (50kg), Lovlina Borgohain (75kg), and Saweety Boora (81kg). They all are champions in different levels of different boxing matches.

Ritu Shah succeeds as the 22nd Chairperson of the FICCI Ladies Organization

Ritu Shah is the new Chairperson of the FICCI Ladies Organization. She succeeded Subhra Maheshwary.

FLO represents over 8000 women entrepreneurs and professionals. Hyderabad has a membership of over 1015.  Hyderabad Chapter is the most vibrant and largest chapter in the country

Delta Air Lines honours women working in aviation industry

In order to recognise the contribution and support of women to its operations in various markets, Delta Air Lines hosted a high tea event in Accra that brought together female leaders, significant stakeholders, and businesswomen in the Ghanaian aviation sector. The first of its sort celebration of international women's day took held in the Telanda Tea Garden in Labone.

The significance of the High Tea event was discussed by Eliona Baddoo, Sales Manager of Delta Air Lines- Ghana, Liberia, and Cote d'lvoire, who stated, "Delta is committed to providing opportunities that will ensure the growth and development of its women and recognises the critical role that women play in international business.

Yuva Samvad Event addressed by Union Minister for Women & Child Smriti Irani

An event Yuva Samvad was hosted by MP Tejasvi Surya at Bengaluru where Union Minister for Women & Child, Mrs. Smriti Zubin Irani was present to address the people. Smriti stated that no one in the nation is above the law and that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been declared guilty by the court. She even claimed that the opposition is framing Rahul Gandhi has been disqualified by the Government.

The statement by Rahul Gandhi at an event disrespected the sentiments of the entire OBC community, and the court has taken into notice about this issue under defamation law. She further added that the accused has not been defended or Rahul Gandhi assumes that he is above the law.

Women's World Boxing champions honored by Radisson Blu Kaushambi

The Women's World Boxing Championship was held at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Delhi where 4 Indian female athletes clinched gold medals for the country. The boxers were honored by the famous 5-star hotel, Radisson Blu Kaushambi established in Ghaziabad. The gold medallists include Nikhat Zareen, Lovlina Borgohain, Saweety Boora, and Nitu Ghanghas.

The Indian boxing team had a stay in the respective hotel during the championship, they were further felicitated by the management organizing an award ceremony.

Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare organizes Awareness program for Farmwomen and Female business owners of Punjab

A one-day "Awareness on Agripreneurship cum Exhibition for Farm Women" was held at the PAMETI campus in collaboration with the Punjab Agricultural Management & Extension Training Institute (PAMETI), Ludhiana, and the Department of Agriculture Farmers Welfare, Punjab.

It was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, the Government of India, and the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management, Hyderabad. The event's goal was to educate farmwomen and female business owners about the potential for entrepreneurship in the agricultural and related industries as well as how to use digital media to expand and market their businesses.
