India all set to Launch Cancer Vaccine for Women This Year

A vaccine to combat cancers affecting women will be available in the next five to six months, with girls aged 9 to 16 eligible for the shot, announced Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav on Tuesday. Speaking at a press conference, the Union Minister of State for Health, Family Welfare, and Ayush (Independent Charge) shared that the vaccine’s research is nearly complete, and clinical trials are currently in progress.
