Mithali Raj will come out of Retirement for Women's IPL
Former India skipper Mithali Raj will come out of retirement for the Women’s IPL which is expected to be played from the first week of March. There have been a lot of activities ahead of the first Women’s IPL. The names of the five participating teams are expected to be released in the last week of January.
Mithali’s participation will provide the tournament a spurt of energy since she is one of the most loved female Indian cricketer across the country. Mithali is the face of women’s cricket in India. Public awareness campaign to be launched by Chandigarh Welfare Trust to Mend city's sex ratio
The "Dheeyan Di Lohri" was organized by the Chandigarh Welfare Trust (CWT) at Maloya Pind to continue to encourage education for girls and women's empowerment among the locals. Padma Shri Prabhaben Shah passes away at age 92
At the government hospital in Daman on Wednesday, Prabhaben Shah, a case manager from Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman, and Diu, passed away. She had received the Padma Shri honour. She was 92.
On Thursday in the late afternoon, Daman will host the final rituals. Prabhaben was taken by ambulance to the medical clinic on Wednesday morning after having respiratory issues and heart-related disorders. However, due to age-related ailments and cardiac issues, she died suddenly in the afternoon.
