Women voters outnumber men in 50 percent of Karnataka constituencies

The number of seats in the state where women voters outnumber men has increased to 112 or 50 percent of the total seats in the 224 Karnataka Assembly constituencies, according to the recent electoral rolls data. The figures for the 2018 Karnataka Assembly elections were 67 or 30 percent.

Five Pink Polling Booths in UP to be Managed by All Women Team

District magistrate Manish Kumar Verma has stated that five pink booths would be set up in Dadri,
Dankaur, Bilaspur, Jewar and Jahangirpur for the upcoming urban local body elections. These five booths will be completely managed by women.      

In Dankaur, the booth will be set up in Lal Bihari Inter College, in Dadri the pink booth will set up at Vedic Inter College, IN Rajendra Inter College in Bilaspur, the primary school in Jewar and Public Inter College in Jahangirpur.
