Bhartiya Janta Party Yuva Morcha (BJYM) will hold a national conference shortly to empower women leadership in the country and promote gender-inclusive progress.

BJYM President Tejasvi Surya remarked this at a conference held by the FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO).

To assist economic development, FLO has opted to focus on gender-inclusive growth through promoting women entrepreneurship.

"The FLO will be focusing on the gender inclusive growth story of the nation by elevating the voices of women and enhancing their engagement in the entrepreneurial segment," Jayanti Dalmia, President, FLO, said at an interaction 'India Rising' organised by FLO.

“There are 432 million women of working-age in India, out of which 343 million are employed in the unorganized sector. This is where our role and our interventions will be critical to the goal of women empowerment,” she added.

To promote women's empowerment, Dalmia advocated for a purposeful and concerted effort by government, industry, university, and individuals.

Tejasvi Surya, President, BJYM and MP said, “Women entrepreneurship is one of the vehicles for realising a more equal society as more women take on entrepreneurship, it serves as a catalyst for socio-economic transformation.”

He stated that BYJM will be holding a nationwide conference shortly to better support women's leadership.

Surya argued that dynasty politics in the centre and states have harmed the Indian economy for decades, and that it should be ended since it has been the greatest impediment to fresh ideas and entrepreneurship.
