The TATA Women's Premier League 2024 has become the most exciting season for its audience as both the matches gave enthralling and nail-biting finishes. The Smriti Mandhana-led team Royal Challengers Bangalore played their maiden match of the tournament at their home ground M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Saturday and clinched a win with just 2 runs. It was a do-or-die moment to watch for as Sobhana Asha grabbed 5 crucial wickets for UP Warriorz to make a victory.

The second match of the TATA WPL 2024 was made exciting before it started as the tickets for this match were sold out before time whereas the sold-out stadium roared with chants of RCB when Skipper Smriti Mandhana entered the ground. The match started with excitement and ended with the last ball thrill. UPW won the toss and elected to bowl first against RCB. The first innings was served by RCB scoring 157/6 in 20 overs. Shabbeneni Meghana with 53 runs and Richa Ghosh with 62 runs made half-centuries together. During the second innings, The UPW had to chase the target of 158 runs but was bound to make 155/7 due to the strong defending opponents. The highest score for UPW was made by Grace Harris with 38 runs and Shweta Sehrawat with 31 runs.

The Player of the Match title was presented to Sobhana Asha of RCB for clinching 5 crucial wickets of UPW. The most number of runs was made by Richa Ghosh of RCB with 62 runs.
